I’m Taking A Blogging Break – Before I Do

It has been one heck of a month. I’ve been rocked by Brexit, had an incredibly bad day, put my house on the market, sold it and now I’m (at least technically) homeless. I am desperately trying to keep on juggling, but if I carry on cramming as much as I do into every day I’m not only going to drop my balls (oo er misses), they’re going to land on my head and knock me unconscious. Something has to give, and I don’t want it to be me.

So I’ve decided to take a (very short) blogging break. I won’t be gone for long; maybe a week, maybe two. By doing this I can get the organisational nonsense out of the way, clear my head and come back to you all fresh and ready to blog my little socks off.

Taking a break from blogging

I’ll still be around on social media, and if time is on my side and the mood takes me I may put up a cheeky little post or two, but in the main I’ll be taking a blogging break – before I do.

It will also give me some time to take a look at my blog and work out what is and isn’t working as far as aesthetics and content is concerned – so expect few changes.

I do hope you understand, I’ll see you on the other side of the move!

Cheerio.

Hello Michelle, take that break (well sort of) hope all goes well, with your move. See you soon.

I can completely understand where you are coming from Michelle! I’ve had an unscheduled two week break myself. It was simply impossible to keep up with the children off school, my Dad visiting from Australia & correcting the builders mistakes from our recently “completed” loft conversion!
I hadn’t intended on a break but when we went on holiday I just couldn’t find the energy to post. I was exhausted & needed to chillax, so I just did. In hind sight I probably should’ve done what you have here & made a scheduled stop to let my readers know.
Next time I definitely will 😉
I hope you find a home soon & things begin to settle to a more normal pace… well normal for you that is heeheehee

Dear Kenny, Pam and Mr. & Mrs. Watson, I was so sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. We were neighbors and friends when we lived next door to them on New Zion Road back in the 80′s. She was a good friend and sweet person. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time. Tom and Linda Lail, Swoope, VA
