A DIY Father’s Day Card Tutorial

It’s rolled around again: the time to celebrate dad’s. So have you got Father’s Day sewn up, or are you frantically surfing the web trying to find something, anything that doesn’t scream, “YAWN!”

Without a doubt, shopping for the amazing dudes in your life has definitely become easier. But if you’re struggling to find something a little bit out of the ordinary, a quick click around Not On The High Street, Etsy or Handpicked Collection is sure to unearth some unusual goodies.

Back in my day (darn it “when I were a lass” is going to pop out of my mouth any minute), with no internet and access to the likes of C & A (remember them?), it was a choice of a tie, a shirt or probably the most unimaginative gift on the face of the planet; socks. I believe most dads probably ended up with incredibly well-dressed feet.

Fast forward to the  twenty-first century, and there’s something out there for even the quirkiest of dad’s; the internet is literally groaning with unusual gifts.

So to compliment your  gift of much awesomeness, here’s a DIY Father’s Day card tutorial:

As a very famous meerkat once said, “Simples!”

So what have you got the dad(s) in you life? Are you going for something quirky or sticking with socks?
