My First Youtube Video – Aerobatics In A Jet Provost

For the longest time I have wanted to record my first Youtube video, and for the longest time I’ve kind of been putting it off. My life has been jam-packed full recently, and I didn’t want my first video attempt to be a hastily cobbled together hot mess.

But there comes a time when genuine lack of time turns into an excuse, and an excuse turns into procrastination. And, as I’m a keen advocate of pushing my own limits, I decided to stop overthinking and just do it!

I thought you may like to share with me my first experience of taking the controls of a jet aeroplane and performing some pretty nifty aerobatics. I must admit, I was more than a bit apprehensive – the thought of spiralling through the air upside down gave me more that a few sleepless nights. But I do enjoy trying new things and it seemed like as good a time as any to try out a bit of videoing. Two of my own limits blasted out of the ballpark in one day!

So may I present to you my first Youtube video – aerobatics in a jet provost.

I am now asking myself how the hell am I going to follow that?! If you enjoyed watching then please don’t forget to subscribe to follow my adventures in midlife alongside some makeup tutorials, etc. I can’t promise that I’ll be throwing myself though the air in a jet every week though.

Cheerio.

I realised at the end of the video I had an enormous smile on my face! Felt like I was right there with you Michelle thank you.
I must admit I imagined the spins would be a lot faster therefore not so much fun as vomit inducing. This was wonderful xxx

We were flying at around 350mph so the spins were actually faster than they look, but I didn’t find them stomach churning so much as thrilling. It’s the G Force that usually makes people feel queasy. Andrew can get up to 5G before he starts feeling wobbly, I hit 5G in this display and wanted more!

I can’t wait to go up again 🙂

      Thanks Suzy 🙂
He was so thrilled that I gave it a go and loved it, despite losing a few nights sleep thinking about those spins beforehand!
