Minions, Canterbury Tales And Not Drowning | First Ever Weekly Vlog

Yarn bombing at Ramsgate | The Barefaced Chic | Lifestyle blog for women over 50

If you watched my last weight loss journey video you will know that I have been toying with the idea of a weekly vlog. I was beginning to feel that too much focus was being put on losing weight rather than living life to the full AND trying to regain a healthy weight for my height.

After a few positive comments and emails asking me to give the old weekly vlogging a try, I’ve decided to bite the bullet. Now I’m not sure what format these vlogs will take. Despite this first one being a very typical ‘this is Monday’, ‘this is Tuesday’, etc  – we were away on our boat and we took a trip to Canterbury, which made for rather more interesting viewing than me sitting at home banging away on a keyboard all day.

My idea is to keep it very organic and vlog when I actually think I’m doing something that might interest you rather than simply keeping a diary of my every day life. Do let me know what you think because this is very new to me so I would welcome your input and feedback.

I’m also going to keep taking photographs of my adventures (as is Andrew) so each week there will also be an accompanying blog post with images. This week saw us pay a visit to Canterbury and the local craft fair in Ramsgate. This is what caught both our eyes and our lenses.

Oh I love Canterbury! I have a red bracelet, that I wear often on my blog, that I bought in Canterbury 15 years ago!
