What I’ll Be Wearing To The UK Blog Awards Tonight

It’s finally here! The UK Blog Awards 2016 is tonight and I’ll be there, with bells on. Metaphorical bells obviously, the ringing of actual bells may become a tad distracting 🙂

If you’re reading this post as it airs, I’ll be in a taxi hurtling my way towards the venue. Well, probably crawling at snail’s pace – it is in London. I’ll be nervous, excited and will have checked my appearance about three hundred times before leaving the hotel. I will also be feeling incredibly fortunate to have been shortlisted.

Tonight I'll be attending The UK Blog Awards and I thought it might be fun to give you a sneak peak at what I'll be wearing.

I’ve actually been shortlisted for two awards (yeah, I’m hoping for a set of bookends!); Best Wedding Blog and Odeon Cinema’s Best Storyteller. I’m still a bit shocked to have got through with one blog, never mind two. So I want to take just a second of your time to thank you: thank you for reading, thank you for voting, thank you for your comments, thank you for your emails and thank you for your support. Basically, what I’m trying to say is THANK YOU!!!!

I know everybody says this, but I really don’t expect to win anything – I’m just thrilled to be going. I’m also thrilled that I’ll be wearing a rather slinky, rose gold, sequinned, cowl backed dress. Because winning isn’t everything, it’s the taking part that counts. And if you can take part in something whilst wearing a knockout dress – BAM, it’s got to be a good night!

Tonight I'll be attending The UK Blog Awards and I thought it might be fun to give you a sneak peak at what I'll be wearing.

I can’t wait to share the whole look with you, I hope you’ve enjoyed a sneak peek of what I’ll be wearing tonight. Look out UK Blog Awards, The Barefaced Chic is on her way!

Keep your fingers crossed for me, I’ll be tweeting to keep you updated over on Twitter.

Cheerio.
