A Windy Day In Gower, And I’m Still Missing Wales

A Scarf blowing in the wind
Today I spent the majority of my time being blown around the Gower Coast, laughing with my children and deciding that I’m still missing Wales – big time!

I decided to stay on here in the land of song for a few days after my daughter’s engagement party. Combining a bit of family time with a spot of house-hunting. Yep, all going to plan, we’ve decided to bite the bullet, up sticks and move to Wales. What can I say, I miss the sheep 🙂

Just take a look at these pics and tell me that you wouldn’t miss this too:

Rhossili Bay in the Gower
A view from the cliff top at Rhossili
View from a cliff
Sign warning about cliff edge
Me standing on the edge of a cliff
My feet with the sea in the background

Me and my son

Me and my ‘little boy’, Daniel

View of a beach

Young people smiling

My son-in-law, (to be) Ross, and my daughter, Rachel

Leaves with the sea in the background
Langland bay
A Beach in the Autumn sun

What do you think? Am I mad to leave the home that Mr Chic and I have lovingly refurbed and made our own? Or do you completely understand the pull of family and the land I grew up in? I’d love to know your thoughts.

The majority of these pics were taken on a camera phone by my son, Daniel. I am still gobsmacked that he managed to shoot pics of such awesomeness on a phone!!

If I had grown up in such a breathtaking place, I don’t think it would ever leave my soul, and I certainly would want to go back! Heck, I want to move to Wales myself, now!
