Layered Grey And Cream Outfit – Fashion Over 50

It saddens me to say it, but it looks like the Autumn is well and truly here. And I can’t say I’m a massive fan. I think I was meant to simmer slowly under a Mediterranean sun: I detest the cold, and don’t even get me started on the rain.

My default setting is to hunker down, snuggle in my PJ’s and not leave the house until Spring has sprung. But, as staying indoors for long periods is good for neither body or soul, I decided to throw on a layered grey and cream outfit and take a walk along Ramsgate Beach.Showing the back of a layered grey and cream outfit as I look across Ramsgate beach. Being blown by the wind as I walk along Ramsgate beach wearing a layered grey and cream outfit.

As you can see from the pics, it was a pretty windy day. Which certainly helped blow the cobwebs away. I’m hoping that our time spent on our boat whilst we’re house hunting will be as rain free and I stay as warm and dry as possible. Unless I end up in the marina again – yep, I totally fell in a few years ago. FYI: marina water tastes foul, but the diesel oil slick that sits on top of it did give me incredibly shiny hair for a few weeks 🙂

Cheerio.

OH my, the photos even make me feel cold just from the lack of sun and the obvious wind! The windowpane grey long wrap is gorgeous, I can see that styled so many ways. xx

It actually wasn’t as cold as it looks, but I’m missing the sunshine already 🙁

What a fab look, perfect for the weather atm, Ramsgate beach looks deserted, but a perfect location. I’m a stones throw away in ‘the bubble’ never actually got to take photos there yet. x Great to link up. Jacqui

It’s not a bad place to do a photo shoot Jacqui, there are some lovely spots dotted around.

I’ll join you on the sadness that is the onset of autumn, Michelle… I get so down at this time of year!! Make sure there’s room for me in your suitcase when you next fly off to the Med, heehee 😉

I think you’re fast becoming the Queen of Layering – so many gorgeous textures and shades of white and grey, and I adore those sparkly sneakers. A masterclass in luxe layering…! Glad to have you back on your regular blogging schedule – like you I know how good a break is for your body, mind and soul 🙂

I actually love the cold weather, probably because I live in Portugal where it’s quite hot for much of the year! I must admit to envying you in these pics – I’d love it to be cold enough to wear woolly clothes for a stroll on the beach lol!
    LOVE the sparkly trainers 😉

I’d change places in a heartbeat! I hate the cold with a passion, that’s why we may very well end up living in Spain 🙂
