Fantasy Sales Shopping

As tempted as I have been, I’m trying not to splash out too much on the sales. I’ve cherry picked a few classic items, but I’m steering clear of the goodies that I really want but don’t necessarily need.

That hasn’t stopped me from doing a bit of fantasy sales shopping though. I have filled many an online basket, only to discard it when I asked myself if I really need another pair of heels. No wait, can a woman EVER have too many pairs of shoes?!

In all seriousness, we’ve just put the house on the market and it seems foolish to buy more clothes only to pack them away for the move. BUT if I wasn’t in the midst of a packing frenzy here’s what I might have bought from ASOS.

Y.A.S Hibiscus Maxi Dress

Soft peach Summer maxi dress. One of the items that I've been fantasy sales shopping for.

This peach maxi dress was one of my Summer fantasy sales shopping items.

I fell in love with the colour of this dress from ASOS. It looks ideal for throwing on when the sun is shining for a walk along the beach. I can picture it with a huge beach bag, floppy hat and flat sandals. Available in all sizes except XL when I checked this morning

ASOS Pleated Swing Maxi Dress

Again it was the colour that caught my eye with this dress, that and the fact that it looks incredibly easy to wear. I can just see myself swishing along the seafront wearing it. I’m not always keen on showing my arms (it kind of depends on my mood), so I’d definitely team this with a wrap. Available in sizes 4 through 14 when I checked this morning.

Little Mistress Tall Dress With Striped Panels

At first glance this dress looked a bit too short for me (personally). However, the model wearing it is 5′ 11″ and it’s aimed at the taller woman. You would have to take the cut of the dress and your body shape into consideration, but I think it would be worth a try.

I can see this dressed up with a mid- length, lightweight jacket (something like the one I wore in this post). There were limited sizes available when I checked this morning.

French Connection Wide Brim Floppy Straw Hat

Huge floppy straw hat that I've been coveting during my fantasy sales shopping.

I am an absolute sucker for sun hats. It’s a recent obsession, but a good one. As in: I catch the sun incredibly easily, and a big floppy sun hat protects my face. This one is still available in small and medium as of this morning.

OK, I know this isn’t really a Summer sale item, but I’m thinking ahead to Autumn. I’m having a bit of a love affair with wraps at the moment, and this one looks so darn cosy. It was low in stock this when I looked this morning

Dune Colour Block Tote Bag

Brown, blue and cream tote bag.

I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for a ‘sensible’ everyday bag that will look pretty good with most outfits. I keep flitting back to this little chap, so I may very well break my ‘I’m not going to buy anything else until we move’ rule. There were no stock limitations when I checked this out (for the hundredth time) this morning.

Carvela Maze Glitter Toecap Plimsolls

Again I do think I’ll end up buying these. They are very similar to a pair I already own and have worn to death. Yes, they are glittery but they simply go with every casual outfit I own. Yep, I’ve just won myself over, I’m purchasing! Available in all sizes expect 4 and 8 as of this morning.

Carvela Moore Point Flat Shoes

I must admit, I had every intention of purchasing these, but when I hit the site this morning they had sold out of my size, sigh. They are available in sizes 4 and 6 though.

ASOS hasn’t been the only store I’ve fantasy raided, if you want to see my choices from other online retailers just shout. Leave a comment down below and I’ll let you know what my virtual checkout looks like 🙂

Fantasy shopping eh? Hmm sounds fun, think I may just have a try of this later tonight over a glass of wine. No scratch the wine, could end up actually buying stuff 😉

No, no, no – wine and shopping never mix. I once almost bought a car whilst drunk and I can’t drive 🙂
