As I am an absolute sucker for jackets – my heaving wardrobe will testify to this fact – in order to keep my bank balance happy, I tend to feed my jacket habit with thrift store / charity shop finds. This jacket, which was thrifted then up-cycled, is fast becoming my go-to, light-weight, Winter favourite.
It’s very easy to wear and can take a “pop” of colour. I’ve worn it with cherry red, bright green and deep navy, but for this outfit shoot I wanted to keep it simple. Teamed with my grandmother’s brooch, a cosy scarf and beige boots, the jacket does most of the talking.
Jacket – M & S label bought from charity shop / Scarf – charity shop / Nails – Bourjous So Laque in Jaune Trendy topped with Leighton Denny in Gold Dust / Hair Accessory – made by a friend / Hamster cheeks courtesy of Christmas overindulgence 🙂
I’d love to know how many of you up-cycle? I’d also love to see your handiwork so send me your pics and I’ll share them with The Barefaced Gang.
