How To Style A Black And White Outfit With A Nautical Twist

Close up of chunky necklace for a black and white outfit
I’m a big fan of huge, chunky necklaces but sometimes they can overwhelm my rather small frame. So when I spied this whopper I really hoped it would compliment a black and white outfit that I planned to wear for a spot of lunch in a rather nice hotel.

I love the fact that the rope detail adds a bit of a nautical twist to an otherwise classic look. And, being as I’m taking some R & R next to the sea, it seemed only fitting to give a bit of a nod to my nautical surroundings.

My plan had been to throw on a floppy, striped sun hat to complete my outfit.

Ever the optimist, I had pictured sitting in a cafe bar overlooking the sea after a relaxing lunch, the sun shining brightly in the Ramsgate sky. What I got was an overcast day with plenty of wind. I may have to start a blooper reel just to show you what happened after the sunhat pics were taken! Let’s just say that marina and hat almost got a little to close 😉

I love how this oufit looks, and that bag is amazing, so genuine and beautiful! Monochrome oufits I think that are always an amazing choice.
Nice post, have a good day! xx

Thank you Selena. I am a big fan of monochrome, but I also love heaps of colour! 🙂
